How to Bathhouse

Talk to any seasoned bathhouser and they will have their preferred rotations between soak, sauna, and steam. While there’s really no wrong way to bathhouse, below are our recommended circuits to get you started.

Bathhouse Dry Sauna

THE STARTER CIRCUIT

Sometimes the only way out… is through the bathhouse. Dive in with our Starter Circuit and don’t forget to hydrate in between with some cool water on the hammams.

1. Steam Room, 5-10 Minutes

2. Short break

3. Sauna, 15 minutes (or as long as you can handle)

4. Cold Plunge, 1-3 minutes for maximum results

5. Continue to rotate between hot and cold on your own journey

THE HANGOVER CIRCUIT

Detox to “retox” with this circuit designed to bring you back to life. End with a Scrub Treatment (includes Day Pass admission) to get cleansed from head to toe and think about the choices you made last night.

1. Cold Plunge, 1-3 minutes

2. Tropical Sauna, 15 minutes

3. Hang out in the neutral pool (skin temperature), you earned it!

4. Hammam Scrub

5. Head to the restaurant for some hair of the dog

Bathhouse Pools

THE POST-WORKOUT CIRCUIT

Think of the Post-Workout Circuit as your recovery AMRAP (As Many Rounds As Possible). Pairing cold with hot reduces soreness and muscle fatigue so you can rally for your next training session faster.

1. Hot Pool, 3 minutes

2. Cold Plunge, 3 minutes

3. Repeat 4x

Remember, the beauty of contrast therapy with our facilities is that you cannot go wrong. Play around, have fun; it’s ALL good for you!
